Eau Claire County health officials are hoping to track down the owner of a dog that bit a man last week.
The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday near Imperial Circle and Eldorado Boulevard. Reports say the dog — described as a large-sized, short-haired, white dog with some brown-colored fur — was not on a leash but was with two adults. The Eau Claire City-County Health Department is hoping to learn if the dog had been vaccinated for rabies so as to have a better idea how to treat the victim.
