Western Wisconsin could be where a national gas tax is decided.
Americans For Prosperity is out with a new ad that highlights the push to raise the federal gas tax by a quarter. AFP Wisconsin’s Eric Bott says western Wisconsin Congressman Ron Kind could be a swing vote on the issue, and he wants to make sure people tell Kind to vote ‘No.’ Bott says the 25 cent tax hike would be in addition to the eight cents-per-gallon that Governor Tony Evers wants to add to the price at the pump.
