Governor Tony Evers says he plans to appeal President Trump’s denial of FEMA funding.
In August, parts of the Milwaukee metropolitan area saw extensive damage after experiencing heavy flooding. Evers said on Monday that “there isn’t a reason in the world” for rejecting the funding request. Damage was originally estimated to be about 43-million dollars but that number could increase.
