Wisconsin man convicted of murder 30 years ago is now eligible for parole.
In 1994, Michael Maldonado was sentenced to life in prison as a teenager. He had been found guilty of shooting and killing the husband of a Jefferson High School teacher’s aide. But his attorney convinced the courts that there wasn’t enough evidence proving Maldonado shot the gun at the time of sentencing. Maldonado said in court on Thursday that he’s going to be taking steps toward rehabilitation.
