Senator Tammy Baldwin is formally requesting for her pay to be withheld during the ongoing federal government shutdown.
Baldwin says she has asked the Financial Clerk to withhold pay until the government shutdown is over. Under the Constitution — in government shutdowns — Members of Congress must still be compensated.
