Hook and Line Sturgeon Season Starts

News | September 6, 2025 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy
Hook and Line Sturgeon Season Starts

Hook and line sturgeon season starts on Saturday.

Anglers who want to harvest a lake sturgeon must have their general 2025 fishing license and a valid line lake sturgeon tag.  Only one sturgeon can be harvested per season for each license holder, and harvested fish will have to be registered at designated stations.  The season will run until September 30th.  More information about sturgeon season and  is available on DNR-dot-Wisconsin-dot-gov.
