Eau Claire City Councilmembers heard opinions from residents on the two proposals at a public hearing Monday.
The first proposal seeks to implement a one-dollar per hour parking fee along a stretch of Barstow Street between Lake and Madison Streets. The second proposal would impose a speed limit of 15 miles per hour for e-bikes and scooters at city trails and public sidewalks. Councilmembers will vote on the proposals at today’s meeting.
