FOXCONN FALLS SHORT

Foxconn spent almost 100 million-dollars last year getting its southeast Wisconsin plant ready to go, but a new report says the company didn’t do enough to earn tax breaks from the state.

The WisPolitics blog last week reviewed Foxconn’s latest report to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and says the company fell 82 jobs short of the threshold needed to earn job creation tax credit for last year.  The documents do show a lot of activity though.  Foxconn hired most of its employees in the last three months of the year.
