A Wisconsin teen accused of killing his mother and stepfather before being arrested in rural Kansas was in court for a status hearing today.
Police say 17-year-old Nikita Casap fled the state after murdering Tatiana and Daniel Meyer in their Waukesha home. Federal investigators say the suspect was plotting to assassinate President Donald Trump and wanted his parents’ money to start a political revolution in the US. Casap is pleading not guilty to two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and multiple other charges. He’ll be back in court in early October.
