The Dunn County sheriff is thanking two men for stopping a wrong-way drunk driver on Highway 29.
The sheriff says a 21-year-old woman was driving drunk on the wrong side of the road near 29 Pines near the Chippewa and Dunn County lines last Friday when two men in a semi truck got her to pull over. They then took the woman’s keys and called 9-1-1 and she was slumped over in her seat when deputies arrived. The sheriff’s office says the two men likely stopped a tragic accident.
