Starting next week, Wisconsin people getting Social Security Disability Income will also be eligible for unemployment if they qualify.
Previously a state law denied unemployment to someone receiving SSDI. A judge ruled against the ban and ordered the state to stop denying the unemployment claims, effective July 20th. The question of whether people can collect back unemployment pay is not decided yet.
