Calling All “Kuul” Kids: 18th U.S. National Kubb Championship to be Held in Eau Claire

Eau Claire, WI will host the 18th annual U.S. National Kubb Championship this weekend, July 11 – 13th, at the Eau Claire Soccer Park. This year’s event matches last year’s World Record with 144 3+ player teams and boasts teams and players from over 25 different states and Belgium. Registration for this year’s tournament filled up in only 38 hours. The U.S. Championship is held every year in Eau Claire, officially The Kubb Capital of North America. 

The weekend events begin on Friday with Kid Kubb: U.S. Junior Kubb Championship (the only kid kubb tournament in the world) beginning at 9 a.m., continuing with the Kubb Skills Competition starting at 5 p.m. The U.S. National Kubb Championship begins with group play on Saturday at 9 a.m. and continues with playoffs starting at 1 p.m. for all teams. The final 16 teams will advance to Sunday and start at 8 a.m., and the semifinals starting at approximately 11:30 a.m. Find the full event schedule below.
