A historic submarine will be getting preserved into a memorial.
The Wisconsin Maritime Museum announced that it reached its goal of raising one-point-five million dollars toward preservation of the U.S.S. Cobia. Veteran Greg Miller, who worked on the boat during the Vietnam War, says it’s nice to see people actually interested in the boat. The 80-year-old vessel will make its way to Sturgeon Bay in September, where it will receive restorations.
