The City of Chippewa Falls is thrilled to announce the installation of a musical playground at Erickson Park, a beautiful community space renowned for its scenic beauty and accessible outdoor amenities. The new musical playground will offer interactive, outdoor musical instruments for visitors of all ages to enjoy, further enhancing the park’s appeal as a destination for recreation, relaxation, and community connection.
John Jimenez, Chippewa Falls Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, shares his enthusiasm, “Erickson Park is a great spot for outdoor recreation and inclusive experiences in our community. The addition of a musical playground is a unique opportunity to bring people together through music, creativity, and play. We are excited to see families, friends, and visitors of all abilities enjoying this new feature alongside our existing amenities.”

Community members Norm and Mary Ellen Keller, whose generous donation made the project possible, shared, “After the recent passing of our son, Erich, we felt moved to do something positive for the community in his memory. We hope the musical playground will bring joy to everyone who visits.”
Erickson Park continues to be a vibrant hub for the Chippewa Falls community, and the new musical playground promises to add harmony to an already dynamic outdoor experience.
