A highway in Winnebago County now carries the Purple Heart designation.
Community leaders gathered in Oshkosh Saturday to dedicate the portion of Wisconsin Route 21 that runs through the county. The local chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart helped make the new highway sign possible.
