Milwaukee is remembering a decorated World War Two veteran.
A funeral service was held Saturday for Anna Mae Robertson, who died recently at age 101. Robertson was one of the last surviving members of the Six Triple Eight – the Army battalion that distributed 17-million pieces of backlogged mail in just three months. Robertson and other members of the battalion are featured in the 2024 Netflix movie “The Six Triple Eight.”
