Chippewa County Sheriff Travis Hakes is notifying the public of a sex offender being released to our area. The information is below:
GOLLAN, JEFFRY A.
41 YEARS OLD
BORN: 08/01/1983 MALE / WHITE
HEIGHT: 5’2” WEIGHT 144 lbs.
HAIR: BROWN EYES: BLUE
Mr. Gollan will be released on 5/27/2025 and will be residing at 28367 County Highway S, Cornell, WI.
Mr. Gollan’s convictions involve both adult and juvenile victims under the age of 16. Mr. Gollan also has a conviction from 2004, and in that case was convicted of Child Abuse – Intentionally Causing Harm. Mr. Gollan is being released into Chippewa County due to Wisconsin State Law, requiring him to return to the County of conviction.
Mr. Gollan will be under supervision with the Department of Corrections until 8/13/2032 He will be subject to the Global Positioning System (GPS) during this time. He also is required to register with the WI Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registration Program for life.
Mr. Gollan is to have no unsupervised contact with minors unless approved by the Department of Corrections, no contact with his victims, and he cannot use illegal drugs. He is to comply with standard sex offender rules and cooperate with electronic monitoring. He is required to have face-to-face contact with law enforcement for registration purposes, to comply with all requirements, and is a lifetime registrant of Wisconsin’s Sex Offender Registration Program www.WISTAYSAFE.gov.
