Work is getting started on a veteran’s memorial in the city of Wauwatosa.
A groundbreaking for the project was held at Hart Park yesterday. Army veteran Alex Kaleta has been leading the effort to make the memorial a reality for nearly six years. He says they hope to have the seven-foot-tall granite monument in place by this November but they will need additional donations to complete the project.
