The lawyer for a Milwaukee judge accused of helping an illegal immigrant get away is filing a motion to dismiss.
Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan has been indicted by a federal grand jury. Prosecutors say she led the man out of the courtroom, escaping federal ICE agents. The motion to dismiss her case argues her arrest is unprecedented and unconstitutional. Dugan’s lawyer says the judge should have judicial immunity.
