The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating how two people ended up dead in a river.
The sheriff’s office received a call from someone who found two bodies in a river just northeast of Tomah. Police did confirm that the two people left a local bar the night before and that no one had seen them since. They believe that foul play was not involved. If anyone has seen anything suspicious in the area, they are asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
