Tickets are still available for the Chippewa Valley Bee Expo, a new annual family event dedicated to educating members of the community about pollinators and natural living practices 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in Chippewa Falls.



Demonstrations and presentations will be held throughout the day on a wide range of topics focused on sustainability, encouraging pollinators, and using the products produced by honeybees. Youth events will also be a big part of the Expo, and more than 40 vendors will have booths at the event, many with games and giveaways.
The event includes presentations and seminars throughout the day on topics ranging from creating a pollinator-friendly yard and garden to beginning beekeeping, and from cooking with honey to developing natural products derived from keeping bees.
Emcee on the Bee Expo’s main stage will be Keith Edwards, longtime broadcast journalist who was recently named Best Local News Writer and Best Television News Anchor in the Volume One Best of the Chippewa Valley poll. Main stage happenings include:
