City Council Looks to Plant Seeds for New Tree Ordinance

The Eau Claire City Council is considering an update to the tree ordinance that hasn’t been touched since 1970.

Council members Andrew Werthmann and Kate Felton look to update the ordinance by setting goals for updating the approved tree species list, possible board creation to develop tree preservation policies and adjust fees and licenses for tree care companies.
