Fire officials are investigating a fire that took place in Bloomer off Highway 40 at a barn and meat shop.
Crews were called out after 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. When fire officials arrived, flames and dark black smoke was coming out of the windows of the barn and meat shop. They spent most of the day putting out the fire. The barn and meat shop are a total loss, but the house next to the barn was not damaged. No one was injured from the fire as fire officials are determining how the fire started.
