Two people are dead after a potential gas leak in a Monroe County home.
Crews responded to the scene yesterday evening after a 911 caller visited the home out of concern for the residents and smelled gas. After gas supplies were shut off, a man and two pets were declared dead at the scene. An unresponsive juvenile was taken out of the house, but life-saving efforts were not successful. Investigators say there was no foul play involved.
