Jose Luis Luna Jimenez, 23 years of age, from Columbus, OH has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16.
Troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol arrested Mr. Luna Jimenez for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated first offense with a minor in the vehicle on 2/6/2025. A trooper made a traffic stop on a vehicle on Interstate 94 near Black River Falls for speeding. Upon initial approach of the vehicle, troopers noticed an odor of intoxicants emitting from the vehicle. The driver submitted to field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for OWI 1st offense. Upon further investigation, troopers found a two-month-old infant passenger in the vehicle along with his mother. The passengers were escorted by troopers to a local hotel. Mr. Luna Jimenez was eventually released to a sober third party.
