A man accused of committing murder late last month is formally charged.
Eau Claire Police say they responded to a home on Western Avenue in the early morning on January 25th. They say 21-year-old Andre Simmons was dead in the driveway, and arrested 18-year-old Du’Marion Stogner. He’s been in custody ever since, and is formally charged with intentional homicide today. Another suspect is charged in the case for harboring a felon. Both Stogner and the other suspect will be in court again later this month.
