Local Voting, Primary Updates

There will be a Spring Primary Election on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. In  Eau Claire County there will be one race on the ballot for State Superintendent of Public  Instruction. The two candidates who get the most votes will be placed on the April 1, 2025  Spring ballot. 

Important February Primary Election Dates to Remember: 

Spring Primary Election Day: Tuesday, February 18, 2025 

In-person Absentee Voting: starts Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Contact your municipal clerk for  days and times available. 

Deadline to apply to receive an absentee ballot by mail: Thursday, February 13, 2025 Deadline to register to vote in the municipal clerk’s office: Friday, February 14, 2025. Voter  registration is not available the day before the election. You can register at your polling place on  election day. 

Spring Election Day: Tuesday, April 1, 2025 

Races on the nonpartisan April ballot will include State Superintendent, Justice of Supreme  Court, District 3 Court of Appeals Judge, Eau Claire County Circuit Court Judge-Branch 2,  City/Village/Town officials, School Board members, State of Wisconsin referendum and local  referendums. Voting Information: To find your polling place, see what’s on your ballot, register to vote,  request an absentee or track your ballot click HERE.
