The Green Bay Packers are again supporting efforts to provide affordable housing to veterans.
The Packers Give Back organization is giving Veterans First of Northeast Wisconsin a grant worth 250-thousand dollars. The money will be used to help build a village of one-bedroom tiny homes and a handful of traditional houses where veterans will have access to support services in Green Bay. Construction is expected to begin later on this year.
