WI Chefs in Running for Best in Midwest

Two Madison chefs are named semifinalists for James Beard Awards for Best Chef In The Midwest.

Jamie Brown-Soukaseume and Chuckie Brown-Soukaseume are co-owners of Ahal, an Asian-inspired restaurant on Williamson Street. Jamie was also a candidate for an Emerging Chef James Beard award in 2023.  The winner will be announced in June in Chicago.
