Marquette University is officially naming a new vice president and director of its athletics department.
Mike Broeker is taking over the role, replacing Bill Scholl who is retiring after a decade at Marquette. Broeker has almost 30 years of experience in athletics administration, and served as the deputy director of athletic at Marquette for 18 years. Broeker will be introduced in his new role this Thursday at an event in the Alumni Memorial Union.
