The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley is announcing an event this weekend and invites you to join at Ojibwa Golf & Bowl for an afternoon dedicated to fishing instruction on Glen Loch Lake/Reservoir, where participants will have the opportunity to learn the techniques of ice fishing.
Instruction will be provided by YMCA staff and community fishing volunteers. All attendees will receive complimentary fishing poles, bait, and jigs, while supplies last. Participants will learn how to set up their ice fishing equipment, acquire essential fishing skills, and understand the proper methods for cleaning fish.
NEW THIS YEAR: We encourage participants to bring 1 or 2 non-perishable food items to donate to Agnes’ Food Pantry. Additionally, representatives from the pantry will be on-site offering free coffee and hot chocolate to attendees!
