The Transportation Security Administration is reporting a reduction in gun seizures at Wisconsin airports for last year.
TSA officials say 29 firearms were confiscated from passengers across the state in 2024, as compared to 36 the previous year. Nearly 67-hundred guns were found on passengers across the country last year, a slight decrease from 2023, according to the agency. TSA leaders are reminding Americans that they can travel with a gun in their checked baggage but the weapons need to be unloaded, locked in a hard-sided case, and declared at the airline check-in counter.
