Murphy Named to Packers Hall of Fame

Green Bay Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy is being inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame.

Yesterday, the hall announced that Murphy will receive the honor at the next induction banquet in August of next year.  Murphy took over for legendary Packers CEO Bob Harlan in 2007 and helped lead the organization to eight straight NFC title game appearances and a Super Bowl win in the 2010-2011 season.  Murphy is planning to retire in July of next year.  He will be succeeded by current Packers Chief Operating Officer Ed Policy.
