A newly opened nonprofit in Colfax is being evicted after its landlord says it violated its lease agreement.
There have been multiple issues in the past few months, and the Dunn County court commissioner ordered the OCD Foundation to leave its building on University Avenue over the weekend because of claims it made alterations to the building that weren’t allowed, didn’t pay utilities, and allowed people to live in the building.
Multiple employees also claim they weren’t paid their agreed upon wages. The nonprofit’s chairman says he thought building alterations were allowed and that they wouldn’t have moved in if he knew they weren’t.
