WI Weekend Sports: Badgers Seek Homecoming Win, Bucks Fall to Bulls

The Badgers celebrate Homecoming tonight and hope to celebrate their fourth-straight win.

Wisconsin hosts third-ranked Penn State in a nationally-televised prime time Big Ten battle. The Badgers have won their last three games by a combined score of 117-to-16, but all three opponents were unranked. The Nittany Lions have won the last five meetings, although four of the games were decided by a touchdown or less. Wisconsin looks for its first win in the series since 2011. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at Camp Randall Stadium and airs live on NBC.

Bucks Fall In Home Opener

A 13-to-one scoring run by the Chicago Bulls in the fourth quarter can be blamed for spoiling the Milwaukee Bucks’ home opener.

Milwaukee fell to Chicago 133-to-122 Friday night at the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks trailed by only a point early in the final period, but then went three-and-a-half minutes without a field goal and fell behind by double figures. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 38 points, while Damian Lillard added 28. The Bucks are at Brooklyn on Sunday to begin a three-game road trip.
