Governor Tony Evers’ new budget proposal may reduce tuition for non-U.S. residents.
Evers budget would allow people in the country illegally to have access to in-state tuition rates as long as they meet the same requirements as citizens. There are currently 16 states that allow illegal immigrants access to in-state tuition rates.
