The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will move its early childhood degree completion program fully online beginning in January 2025.
The change to online only will officially happen on Jan. 27, 2025, the first day of spring semester at UWRF.
The program is designed to provide students with a flexible, high-quality education that meets the demands of working professionals, according to Molly Gerrish, early childhood program director. Offering fully online coursework will allow the program to expand its reach beyond the River Falls
region, she said. Students, faculty and staff worked together before moving the program online to reflect the changing needs of current and future students, she said.
