Local Officials Assure Election Safety

Ahead of November our local Clerk’s office is reaching out to assure citizens of the safety of the electoral process locally and on a state level. Below is the information from Eau Claire County:

As we approach the 2024 election, we want to assure county residents of our commitment to a transparent and fair electoral process. The integrity of our elections is vital, and the Eau Claire County Clerk and Municipal Clerks are dedicated to upholding the highest standards in every step leading up to and during Election Day.

We take all measures outlined by state statute and the Wisconsin Elections Commission to ensure every vote counts and the process remains secure. We understand that trust in the electoral process is essential and encourage all eligible voters to actively participate in the upcoming elections.

Important Dates to Remember:
Election Day: Tuesday, November 5, 2024
Deadline to register to vote online or by mail: Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
In-person absentee voting & drive-through voting: Starts Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Contact your municipal clerk for days and times available.
Deadline to apply to receive an absentee ballot by mail: Thursday, October 31, 2024
Deadline to register to vote in the municipal clerk’s office: Friday, November 1, 2024. Voter registration is not available the day before the election. You can register on election day.
Voting Information: To find your polling place, see what’s on your ballot, register to vote, request an absentee or track your ballot please visit https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/.
