Residents of Durand, southwest of Eau Claire, may soon be able to drive golf carts on city streets.
Yesterday the city’s safety commission held a special meeting to get public input and start a discussion on the topic. The council president says people are already driving golf carts that aren’t permitted so he wants to make it legal. He says the council has no intention of not allowing it.
