Speaking at a rally at Alliant Energy Center in Madison on Friday, Harris told the crowd her campaign is fighting for freedoms, like the freedom for women to make their own decisions.
Harris spoke about abortion rights, saying the government shouldn’t be able to control women’s bodies. She also spoke about her plan to uplift the middle class, promising new parents six-thousand-dollars in the first year of their child’s life, 25-thousand dollars in down payment assistance for first time homebuyers, and a 50-thousand-dollar tax deduction for small businesses.
She added that her commitment to fighting for all Americans is why she has the support of Democrats, Republicans, and Independent politicians.
