The Crimson Tide is making its first trip to Camp Randall Stadium in nearly 100 years.
Fourth-ranked Alabama will visit Wisconsin on Saturday. It’s last trip here was back in 1928 when it suffered a 15-0 loss against the Badgers.
This is a big weekend for alcohol sales at camp Randall Stadium and UW officials are expecting a big crowd.
University spokesman Marc Lovicott says that will be the first big test of the new beer sales this year. He said so far, there haven’t been many problems with fans who get too drunk. In fact, Lovicoot says more people have been kicked-out of Camp Randall for smoking or vaping this year than excessive drunkenness.
Lovicott says an 11:30 a.m. kickoff will also be a challenge, because more people may drink more to start the game.
