Vice President Kamala Harris says Congress is to blame for not addressing the border issue. During Tuesday night’s debate hosted by ABC, Harris accused Trump of killing a bill in Congress in order to make it an election issue. Harris went on to list members of Trump’s staff that have criticized him and endorsed her.
Vice President Harris said they are two very different people.
On the other side of the stage, Trump said Harris is destroying the border and added that immigrants are eating dogs in Ohio. Trump said he would start deporting illegal immigrants immediately if elected but could not answer how he plans to do that. During last night’s presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, the GOP candidate was asked if he had a replacement plan for the Affordable Care Act, and responded that he had “concepts of a plan.” Health insurance subsidies that were expanded under the Biden administration are set to expire in 2025.
Donald Trump tried to tie Harris to some of the Biden administration’s unpopular policies during the debate hosted by ABC in Philadelphia. Trump said America is a failing nation because of the Biden administration’s policies.
The question of whether the two will meet again on stage ahead of the election is still up in the air.
