The Barron County Jail HSED program for the 2023/2024 school year had a total of 26 graduates. Last year officials saw a 200% increase of the previous year with 15 graduates. This year they have a 173% increase.
This program is done with the cooperation of Northwood Technical College. Northwood Tech was even able to handle a summer option for students to complete their competencies and graduate after the semester ended.
