DNR Urges ATV/UTV Safety

Twenty-seven people have died so far this year in Wisconsin from UTV and ATV accidents, five of which happened within the last two weeks.

The Department of Natural Resources says most of the people who died weren’t wearing helmets or wearing seatbelts. More law enforcement will be on trails and routes across Wisconsin watching for safety violations starting today through Sunday for the Think Smart Before You Start campaign.
