The Goshdarn Humidity…

You may have heard “It’s not the heat, it’s the goshdarn humidity!”

Well, today it will be a bit of both, as it is going to be a dangerously hot day in Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley.

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for the entire area that runs from 1 p.m. til 8 p.m tonight. Forecasters say highs will be in the mid-90s, but the heat will make it feel closer to 100 degrees. A round of thunderstorms tonight should cool things off. The Chippewa Valley will go from highs in the 90s today, to the 80s tomorrow, and into the 70s by Friday. CLICK HERE TO SEE YOUR FIRST ALERT FORECAST WITH WEAU 13.
