For some folks the summer season means weddings. For this weeks Friday Feel Good we head to Kentucky for a story that started with “till death do us part” and continues on long after the vows were exchanged.
A wedding ring lost in 1963 just turned up 61 years later. A guy in Kentucky named Glenn Gregory lost it near a tree on his farm that he planted with his wife Barbara right after they got married. Sadly, Glenn passed away and while workers were digging a trench for his headstone they found the ring.
Jonathan Searcy talks about finding the ring and his widow, Barbara, talks about how she saved Gregory’s replacement ring and their love story that has a special “ring” to it.
