Prosecutors Push Ahead With Murder Charges

The last of the suspects in D’Vontaye Mitchell’s death appeared in court over the weekend.

The bellhop who is charged in Mitchell’s death back in June appeared before a court commissioner yesterday. Herbert Williamson is the last suspect to be taken into custody on murder charges. The court set his bond at 15 thousand-dollars, and told him that his job was to help people with their bags, not get involved in a death. Prosecutors are pushing ahead with charges in the case after they say Williamson and three others held Mitchell down after they kicked him out of the hotel. The medical examiner said Mitchell also had drugs in his system.
