A Wisconsin woman who tried to poison her husband’s coffee has learned her fate.
Fifty-one-year-old Amanda Chapin has been sentenced to three years in prison followed by three years of extended supervision. She pleaded no contest last month to a charge of first-degree reckless endangering. Prosecutors say Chapin put animal euthanasia drugs in her husband’s coffee three times in 2022, leaving the 70-year-old man in a coma.
Chapin told police her husband became sick after taking Ivermectin because he didn’t want to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
