The U.S. Geological Survey is confirming an earthquake in Door County.
They say it hit early this morning in Lake Michigan, which is 24-miles southeast of Sturgeon Bay. The quake measured two-point-nine on the Richter scale. The USGS says it received 24 reports from people who say they felt the earthquake this morning shortly after 9:00.
