A Menomonie man is headed to prison for decades for the sexual assault of a little girl.
A judge in Pepin County yesterday sentenced Pedro Perez-Garcia to 25 years in prison. Prosecutors say an 11-year-old girl told police that Perez-Garcia assaulted her several times, starting when she was very young.
His lawyers say they have new evidence in the case, and are asking for a new trial.
